The final day of the Polish Swimming Championships in Lublin delivered plenty of excitement. Konrad Czerniak, representing KKS Włókniarz 1925 Kalisz and an EliteCore agency athlete, won silver in the 50 m butterfly sprint with a time of 23.69 seconds.
It was the last race offering a chance to qualify for the World Championships in Singapore, where the qualifying time was 23.36 s - so he fell just 0.33 seconds short. Gold went to Kacper Czapla of MKP Szczecin (23.63 s) - congratulations to the new champion!
“I gave it everything, and I was just short of the World Championships qualifying time. It was a really fast final and I'm glad I could be part of it. Silver tastes good, but I know I'm capable of more. I haven't said my last word yet.” - said Konrad after the race.
This performance is proof that Konrad can still compete at the highest level, handling the pressure and showing total commitment. He continues to impress with the consistency, experience and passion that keep him in contention for the top places.
As an EliteCore agency athlete, Konrad Czerniak inspires - not only with his results, but with his attitude, respect for his rivals and an approach to sport that earns admiration.
Congratulations on a great performance, thank you for the excitement, and we're keeping our fingers crossed for the next chapters of his sporting career!
