EliteCore Track Team dominated the Polish Track Cup

On 21-22 February 2026, the velodrome in Pruszków hosted a round of the Polish Cup in track cycling - the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Cup, part of the Polish Cycling Federation calendar. Riders from EliteCore Track Team dominated the men's elite omnium, taking the entire podium. The win went to Daniel Staniszewski, second place went to Dominik Ratajczak, and third to Wojciech Pszczolarski. On the second day of competition, Staniszewski confirmed his strong form, taking second place in the 4 km individual pursuit, riding a bike designed for middle-distance events. In the madison victory went to the pair Pszczolarski / Ratajczak, while second place went to Staniszewski and Krzysztof Wawrzyniak (WroWelo Team).

What is a good plan? One that meets every condition for success. That is exactly the plan the managers of WroWelo Team and EliteCore Track Team prepared together. All that remained was to put it into action. Krzysztof's task was to ride the Madison paired with Daniel Staniszewski. Our rider's role came down to handing over the change, while the Olympian took on the burden of the race. He carried on alone in the race, scoring in the intermediate sprints. We witnessed a daring strategy that resulted in second place in the Madison. Huge credit goes to Daniel Staniszewski for his titanic effort - like Fireman Sam, he did the work of two.
