Daniel Staniszewski
A track and road cyclist, born on May 5, 1997, in CiechanAlw. A graduate of KKS CiechanAlw, he currently competes for EliteCore Track Team—an elite project combining track and road training, preparing the Polish team to compete for medals at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. One of the most experienced Polish specialists in endurance track events: omnium, madison, scratch, and the qualifying race.
Among the most important achievements are:
- Bronze medalist at the 2019 European Games in the omnium (Minsk)
- Bronze medalist at the 2017 European Championships in the Madison (Berlin)
- 8th place in the Madison at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo
- Multiple Polish track champion
Known in cycling as "WęLLu" (Snake) – because he can squeeze through anywhere, always find the perfect line, and handle any tricky situation. When he gets off his bike, he transforms into a crazy monkey, jumping among the ropes and trees at his in-laws' park with his wife.
