In PruszkAlw, the EliteCore Track Team athletes demonstrated that they will be a force to be reckoned with this season. Over the two days of track competition, the elite men dominated almost all the middle-distance events, winning medals in the omnium, Madison, and the 4-kilometer individual race.
On February 21-22, 2026, the Polish Track Cycling Cup – the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Marshal's Cup, a fixture on the Polish Cycling Federation calendar – took place at the PruszkAlw track. EliteCore Track Team riders dominated the elite men's omnium, taking the entire podium. Daniel Staniszewski won, Dominik Ratajczak took second, and Wojciech Pszczolarski third. On the second day of the competition, Staniszewski confirmed his excellent form, taking second place in the 4-kilometer individual race, riding a middle-distance bike. The Pszczolarski/Ratajczak pair triumphed in the Madison race, with Staniszewski and Krzysztof Wawrzyniak (WroWelo Team) taking second place.
What is a good plan? It's an undertaking that meets all the criteria for success. This is precisely the plan that was jointly prepared by the managers of the WroWelo Team and Elite Core Track Team. The finished project now only needed to be implemented. Krzysztof was tasked with pairing with Daniel Staniszewski in the Madison event. Our representative's role was reduced to handing over the shift, while the Olympian took over the competition. He continued the race alone, scoring points in the sprint finishes. We witnessed a daring strategy that resulted in a second-place finish in the Madison. Daniel Staniszewski deserves enormous credit for his titanic work – like Fireman Sam, he did the job for two.
